It"s really incredible that our city is developing so quickly. A couple of years ago, when I was still a student, it was one of the most boring towns in the area. There was absolutely nothing here, no cinemas, no theatres, no pubs or shopping centres. There was nothing here whatsoever! When you wanted to meet your friends, you had to have them round or meet them at one of the ugly looking restaurants that offered tasteless food. When you wanted to see a film, you had to watch it online or visit a modern cinema in a city situated twenty kilometres away. People who were looking for specific education institutions or courses like, let"s say, specialist colleges, secondary schools, vocational training such as driving instructor courses, did not even try to search such opportunities here. But then the town started to change. At first, a huge shopping centre was built on the outskirts. People not only went shopping there on Sunday afternoon, they also met their freinds there. Then new bars, pubs and cafes appeared in town. Two years later, a college was opened here and lots of young people crowded the streets. After that, more schools and training centres were created. Now it"s not a problem to find, let"s say, massage training or driving instructor courses here.
